Tips For A Sunny Day In Paradise Aloha Party
Most people today cannot afford to have a Hawaiian bash on the Islands with their families and friends. Instead why not invite them over to a Aloha party right at home and for a lot less. Just need to make up a guest list, then send out invitations and get the needed Hawaiian party supplies.
Plan the party around fun, food and drinks with family and friends being there. Personalized invitations always feel more welcoming to the guests. The front could have a seascape scene or sunset view of the islands to help make it inviting. On the inside of the Hawaiian party invitations besides the location, time, date and other vital information for this Aloha party, include the following as part of the design.
"Aloha" can mean hello, good-bye, or even I love you. "Lokahi," meaning unity,to be expressed with harmony; "Oluolu," meaning agreeable,to be expressed with pleasantness; "Haahaa," meaning humility, to be expressed with modesty; "Ahonui," meaning patience, to be expressed with perseverance.
After the invitations, it's time to collect Hawaiian Aloha theme party supplies and decorations to set the right mood. The first grouping is going to focus on the decorations and entertainment for the party. The general list should include, tiki torches, grass skirts, hula hoops, and other supplies. Additional include if permitted a fire pit. Make arrangements to rent out a tent of sufficient size to provide apple room for the guest to be seated outside under the tent in the evening.
The guests will need events to keep them busy, besides sitting around and eating food. Without an ocean, a body surfing contest is not an option, but there are plenty of other options. Have a pool, consider water volleyball or swimming contest. Replace the old apple bobbing with pineapple slices hung from the ceiling. Blind the contestants and set them lose, the first one to eat all of their pineapple slices wins.
The next part to the planning process is the food for the party. Onto our party supply list for food such as; teriyaki chicken, coconut shrimp or macadamia coconut shrimp, not to be left out baked fish. A good side dish will be fresh fruit, pineapple is a must, but choose in season fruits to get the freshest selection. A good toss green salad for another healthy choice for dinner.
