What is the difference between inkjet photo paper & laser photo paper?
I just got a new color laser printer & have been printing photos on inkjet photo paper I already had. They printed beautifully. But then I noticed that the small print on the paper package says not for use with laser printers. What am I missing?
The chemical composition of laser ink is different from that of inkjet ink. The emulsion on laser jet photo paper and inkjet photo paper has to be different to match the ink. Certain laser papers may look good when printed with inkjet inks, but the colors may not be as steadfast as they could be if they were printed on the paper that was designed specifically for that ink.
If you are serious about the quality of you photographic output the difference can be huge, regardless of what the previous poster stated.

If I were to send a photo to be autographed by a celebrity, what type of paper should it be printed on?
I am trying to send a photo to be autographed by a celebrity. I found the photo online, and I am wondering if I should print it through Walgreens on photo paper, or just print on regular white paper. What would be best (would the ink bleed through/smudge), and is it legal to print a picture that you didn't take at a drugstore photo counter?
photo paper and it's probably going to be a stamp, unless it's lady gaga she does real signatures.
