If you lose your credit card transaction receipt?
If you lose it at places like McDonald or Burger King, is it best to call the credit card company to report the credit card as lost and get a new account with a different account #? Those receipts show the last 4 digits of your account and your full name.
The reason they show only the last 4 digits of your credit card number is so the receipt will be useless to anyone who finds it.
Think about it. If they know the last 4 digits, that means there are still 12 digits that they *don't* know. If they tried to guess what those digits would be, they'd have only a one in 1,000,000,000,000 chance of getting it right.
Your credit card information is safe.

What is the wording of the agreement that you sign on a credit card receipt?
I have a small business and I will start taking credit cards. I just need some ideas for what credit card receipts say.
Example: Cardholder agrees to amount above... blah, blah, blah. Any ideas will help, I may even combine multiple answers, so anything might help.
I dont want my own wording I just want to know what some credit card reciepts say, because I can't find any of mine.
This is like the simplest question I have ever seen! TELL ME WHAT YOUR CREDIT CARD RECIEPT SAYS RIGHT ABOVE WHERE YOU SIGN IT. How hard is that?
