Promotional Sweets Get The Word Out
In the UK, they are known as promotional sweets; in the United States, they are called promotional candies. Regardless of what they are called, sweets are useful for telling the world about a product or company. Promotional sweets have been especially utilized in the lodging and hospitality industry. Vacationers spending the night at a hotel might find a small dish of promotional candies on the table top or on the dresser in their room. A restaurant may have a bowl of candies at the cash register with the restaurant name and contact information printed on the wrappers.
You can give sweets for any reason imaginable. It is an inexpensive way to show a client that you are happy to be serving them. An employee that makes it first to a common goal would love being rewarded in this way. Putting out info on a new addition to your company line of items will work well with these. How you decide to brand the candy is an important choice and can be done many ways.
Mint candies, rock sweets, or fruit drops can be wrapped in white or metallic film with the company name, logo, colors, and contact information on each wrapper. Chewing gum and chocolate bars can be packaged in a foil and paper wrapper with the company information. A number of sweets may be in a cellophane bag with a paper label or a pasteboard gift box complete with a ribbon and bow. Corporate candy bars might have a discount coupon or prize drawing opportunity on the inside label. One promotional chocolate looks like a CD in a jewel case with the company name on it.
If you want to combine some extensive information with some candy in a package it is a great idea. You can use a promotional mug or tin container. Decorate them so that they are pretty and match the logo too. You get people happy with the candy, they check out the enclosed info, and then they can use the mug for coffee and the tin for storage later.
Don't forget mold-able candies. These can be either chocolate or suckers that you can order into the shape of pretty much anything. If your company logo has a recognizable shape then that would be perfect. Together with the name printed directly onto the candy you have a winner. There are too many types of sweets to mention. A lot of them are very pretty themselves, like jelly beans and lollipops. A company will make the packaging with anything you need on it for some excellent unlimited marketing.
