My CD player won't play CD's at all and When I try to rip a CD the lights flash as they are suppose to but thats the only thing that happens. When I try burning one the light flashes but I hear a grinding noise and get unable to burn message. In addition to this when I try opening the CD drawer nothing opens. I have to insert a pin in the beauty mark to open the drawer. Is My E (cd-rom) drive fried or might it just be dirty?
You could try one of those CD/DVD lens cleaner discs that have little brushes. A small can of compressed air could also help clean. New drives are inexpensive, if needed.

How to Budget for a New Kitchen
A customer walks in to the kitchen design studio one day and asks for his kitchen to be redesigned, supplied and installed. They're asked how much they want to spend.
There are usually the following responses:
1. Up to £10,000.00 (including VAT & installation.) "We only want/need/can afford a simple kitchen."
This is good. It's realistic if they're expecting melamine cabinets and vinyl doors (which can be high gloss). Laminate worktops tend to fall into this category and basic appliances – fridge freezer, oven, dishwasher and microwave and hob.
2.Up to £10,000.00 (including VAT & installation.) "We want/need solid wood cabinets, granite worktops, porcelain flooring, double oven, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee machine, glass splashbacks, and a warming drawer."
Generally speaking, this is will not be possible so the client will either need to make some compromises or look at increasing their budget.
3."I'm not sure but I know what I want" The customer is either unsure or they are keeping their cards close to their chest as they are looking for competitive quotes.
Categories 1 & 2 can relate to any budget. The key is to know the ball parks for the costs of certain items. Here is a run-down of rough guides.
Cabinetry Cheap kitchens come with inherent issues that will either be fine for some or lousy for others. The biggest one is consistency. Cheaper cabinets can be less quality controlled and larger gaps, ‘wonky' doors or rattley drawers may be the result. Or you may be lucky. If you home in on fine detail, these things could be costly. There will also be a select choice of sizes so don't expect everything to line up or fit the walls or recesses exactly. The benefit of using bespoke kitchen companies is that they could manufacture cabinetry from better value materials but to suit the space. It may cost slightly more, but it is worth every penny. If you are looking for wood-veneered carcases, spray-lacquered or bespoke solid timber doors, this is when the cost will start to rise. An average-sized kitchen will be in the £15,000 + mark for the cabinetry alone. The wirework you have inside these cabinets for organization is key to the price as well. For example, you could have a basic corner unit with a fixed shelf or have a corner pull-out that slides out with the door. Ultimately, get your kitchen designer to lay out exactly how you would like to kitchen to fit and start costing it up in different finishes to suit the budget.
Worktops Laminate worktops will be in the hundreds, stone of any description in the thousands. This includes quartz/man-made surfaces which is sometimes more expensive than granite. Solid wood surfaces can vary in price depending on who is selling or manufacturing. Corian is as expensive as stone but is a product that can be blended seamlessly over longer runs for example as it is worked on site. Stainless steel is a nightmare to keep clean and expensive too. If the solid surfaces are required as splashbacks as well (behind the hob, for example) then the cost will also rise further.
Appliances This is where you have the most control. If consistency of aesthetic isn't an issue then you can get much better bang for your buck out of this. Some manufacturers don't deliver all types of product but may have the perfect one you are looking for. Mainstream companies like Hotpoint, Zanussi, Indesit etc will provide a cheaper range of products for similar features whereas more ‘specialist' companies such as Siemens, Miele, Gaggenau or Sub-Zero will supply the very best range of appliances that cover everything from matching aesthetics to comprehensive features and build quality. Do some research into what these features are, though. If you only intend to use an oven for fan oven cooking rather than 40 automatic cooking programmes then spending that money will be wasted (unless you are after the cache of a designer brand). A decent budget for quality integrated appliances is £3,000.00 - £10,000.00 depending on your criteria (oven, microwave, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, extractor, sink, tap, washing machine, tumble dryer). If you are looking for more niche products then you can add this on (coffee machine, warming drawers, 900 wide oven, domino hobs, larder fridge/freezer etc). You will also need to understand that, if you buy appliances online, the installation will be on top and you will be responsible for these items.
Installation A rule of thumb is that installation is 10% of the kitchen cost. Naturally, this can vary but you can use this as a guide.
Miscellaneous Items Things left to tick off your list – flooring, lighting, drawer inserts and room dressing. Tiling is the more expensive of the flooring choices due to the labour but is the most durable. Lighting can range from standard cabinet lights to LED plinth lighting etc – allow a few hundred for LED lighting). Dedicated drawer organizers add cost so try your best to figure out what you'll use each space for. Finally, do you want a blind in front of a window or dressing anywhere else? This finishes the kitchen off nicely."

Register Drawer how to open a tec till drawer without a key?
I have a tec1650 till, in order not to lose the keys I put them in the till drawer. The problem is that I have the register set to 'OFF', and as such the keyboard wont work. how can I open the till drawer to get the keys back out?
Take it to a locksmiths or look on You Tube for lock picking videos. If there is no money in it a trip to a locksmiths may be more than the price of a cheap new till.

Extra Drawer In a kitchen remodel, are all the fancy extras really worth the extra expense?
I don't know if I need the pull-out waste baskets and the pullout pot drawers, etc. I've never had them before, so why do I need them now? But I don't want to regret it later just to save a few bucks.

makes it hard to keep clean with all that cage shelf thing...its not easy to wipe down you really have to get on your hands in knees and wipe down each little metal bar...i would rather just have a shelf to wipe down...i am a little crazy about keeping that area clean
i love the special thingy drawer for your spices
its right next to my stove and the spice jars are sort of in these lay back thingys and so easy to find the right one quickly and easy to keep clean. i like the stand up pantry with the doors that have storage.
could i live with out all of them? yes, i dont find any worth the cost ...its fun for the first couple months but now i find with some convinces comes more troubles in cleaning ease

What can I do with my extra buttons?
My mom found a ton of buttons in her drawers today when she was cleaning. What can I do with them? We don't recognize where 3/4 of them came from, so saving them is stupid...are there any cool crafts that you know of? I tried Googling but that gave me dumb/tacky kid crafts.
String them on elastic to make bracelets. Make a little larger version for a headband, or even a belt.
