Is the cashier able to see your electronic signature when you sign the pad for a credit card purchase?
Today at Men's Warehouse , I drew a penis instead of my signature and I want to know if the person who rang me up saw it.
probably didn't notice but there might be an internal copy of it though
also note the "signature "will be printed on your copy of the receipt

Legal enforceability of "electronic" signatures on paper documents?
In my ongoing battle with the Evil Empire aka Bellsouth Yellow Pages, I've come across yet another issue that I've discussed briefly with my attorney. There are two advertising orders the phone company has produced in a lawsuit they are threatening to file on my company. On the 2nd, they have literally "pasted" an electronic signature I made on some "pin pad" they brought out to my location when I signed for the advertising. Since there are questions about price, contract terms, salesman, etc. my attorney indicated this type of supposed signature may not be legally valid - especially considering this is supposedly attaced to some lengthy two page legal agreement.

Only the county atty for the state in question will know that. In some states, that will be considered valid. THe fact you MADE the signature probably makes it valid.
